Overview
The Digilent Arty S7 is a compact FPGA development board built around a Xilinx Spartan-7 programmable logic chip. It supports a soft MicroBlaze processor for embedded designs. The board includes lots of I/O options like Arduino-compatible headers, multiple Pmod expansion ports, switches, buttons, LEDs, USB-UART for serial communication, and on-board memory (DDR3L and Quad-SPI flash) to support more complex projects. It’s suitable for everything from basic learning to advanced HDL and embedded system development.
