Overview
BS (Base station)
OAIBOX runs gNB and CN5G. The antenna ports of OAIBOX are connected to SDR, which acts as a transceiver, while the UD Box converts the uplink/downlink signal. At any given moment, the UD Box either sends mmWave signals to or receives them from the 5G beamformer. User equipment (UE) There are three types of UEs, and each suits different scenarios. OAI UE is for network and wireless developers and offers the most flexibility; UEs like the iPhone 14 Pro offer the most commercialized experiences, while COTS UEs fall somewhere in between.
