Real TIMS Hardware Experiments via LAN & Internet
Enables professors to set up real TIMS telecommunications experiments in their own laboratory, which students can then access and control in real-time from within the lab or remotely — from PCs, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

Product Details
netTIMS transforms the Emona TIMS hardware lab into a remotely accessible teaching environment. Professors set up real TIMS experiments using netTIMS-enabled modules in a standard TIMS-301 System Unit, connected to a netTIMS Server over Ethernet or the Internet. Students then access these experiments from their own devices — in the lab or from home — with real-time control over all front-panel switches, rotary controls, and potentiometers, and receive live PC-scope views of actual electrical signals. This gives students the genuine hands-on TIMS experience with real hardware, rather than simulation, enabling deeper learning and the observation of real-world signal behaviour. Any number of netTIMS modules can be incorporated based on curriculum needs.
